The Family Computer is a gaming system created by Nintendo in 1983. It was released in other countries as the Nintendo Entertainment System. The Family Computer has been subject to countless bootleg game cartridges, consoles, and various other hardware since the 1990s. It was succeeded by the Super Famicom.
Masahiro Sakurai has sung the Famicom's praises, considering it a "legendary game console".[1]
