Koopa Troopa is a turtle-like creature and the namesake of the Koopa species. They first appear in Super Mario Bros.
Biology[edit]
Koopa Troopas have yellow bodies and generally wear shells that are usually green in color. They used to walk on all fours but began to walk upright in Super Mario World and most appearances ever since.
