Iso Padre is a permanent passenger on the Deepsea Metro train who tries not to be too conspicuous but sticks out all the same. He's a 39-year-old giant isopod, poet, and businessman, but has a unique aura to him unlike a normal businessman. Maybe it's his scary sunglasses, maybe it's his briefcase of toys that he says contains "hopes and dreams", maybe it's his well-groomed whiskers, maybe it's the poetic and philosophical comments he makes when spoken to, maybe it's all of those things combined.

He's probably running some secret business in the shadows. Despite his intimidating appearance, he's a true gentleman who hopes to reach Inkopolis someday. "Iso Padre" isn't his actual name, but it's what everyone calls him, and it's the only name he remembers now.

Iso Padre loves the thin slices of memory known as mem cakes, but he was unsuccessful as a test subject and only managed to collect two himself, falling short of his dream to collect them all. As such, he cherishes the ones Agent 8 collects and shows him, and he rewards their efforts with special gear.
